Why should I buy my fountain from TheWaterFountainStore.com?

Great question! As you may know there are several stores online offering a selection of water fountains for sale. No other company can match the selection, quality and customer service we offer. We focus on giving you the largest selection of fountains online and strive to help you decide which one is perfect for your use. We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure our products are of the highest quality and are shipped securely so they arrive ready for you to enjoy. We all buy things online and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy your shopping experience on our website (it is shopping, after all, and should be fun and easy).

How do I order a fountain from TheWaterFountainStore.com?

One you have decided which fountain you want (we know, this part takes awhile!), you can click on the “Add to Cart” button which will place your new fountain into your very own online shopping cart (minus the squeaky wheel). After you select any accessories (lights, cleaner, etc.) you can proceed to “checkout”. We adhere to all laws regarding safe shopping online and your credit card and contact information will be secure. We also will not share your information with anyone for any reason. You can also call us and we will be happy to place your order with you over the phone, or email us and we will figure something out.

How much is shipping from TheWaterFountainStore.com?

On orders over $99, shipping will cost you nothing. Nada. Zilch. Our smaller fountains will ship for a nominal fee based on your address that we do not mark up. Currently our free shipping is available to anyone living in the continental US. Alaska and Hawaii customers can obtain shipping quotes by emailing us with the fountain you are interested in purchasing. We will email you back with the shipping costs. Soon we hope to be able to offer shipping to our international customers as well (but not yet, sorry!)

What are the Fountain Shipping Methods?

Your fountain will arrive by giraffe. OK, that was our old method but maintaining a fleet of giraffes was way too expensive! We were forced to be normal and use UPS, FedEx and various Common Carriers. Common Carriers are used for larger, heavier fountains and are the only way they can be shipped due to their size and weight.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Fountain From TheWaterFountainStore.com?

Quicker than when we used giraffes! We always try to get your purchase to you as soon as possible (you paid for it, you want it quickly!). Most of our fountains will have an estimated shipping time frame listed on the product description page. Having such a vast selection of Indoor Fountains and Outdoor Fountains available means we work with a diverse variety of manufacturers. Each has their own process for producing and shipping their products, therefore depending on which fountain you select, your shipping time frame will vary. Some ship same day, others take a little longer, and some of them are even made to order so they may take a few weeks. We will promise you this – once you receive a fountain from our store you will agree it was well worth the wait!

Can I get my fountain faster?

We tried this once with a fleet of cheetahs and it went about as well as the giraffe debacle. But yes, we can offer expedited shipping for some of our fountains and will work with you to try to get yours to you as quickly as possible (any additional fees we charge would be applied to shipping only, not profits). Contact us with your situation and we will work something out.

What if the fountain is damaged when it arrives?

Consider any damage to be added character, making your fountain one of a kind! Just kidding again. You can view our section about shipping and returns for more detailed information, but let us tell you the important part: Inspect your fountain carefully as soon as it arrives. Shipping damages are handled by the transit company. We will work with you to make sure you get replacement parts if possible, or a replacement fountain. There are very specific rules (we hate rules, too) that must be followed to ensure our ability to best help serve you. What is TheWaterFountainStore.com Warranty?

Most fountains have a one year warranty on the pump and a one year limited warranty for craftsmanship and leakage.

Can I choose a different finish than the picture shows on fountains at TheWaterFountainStore.com?

This is an option with many of our fountains, depending on the manufacturer. Sometimes there is an extra charge to order a different color. We try to explain this as clearly as possible on our Color Selection Page. Always email us if you still have questions.

Will my fountain come with instructions?

(More importantly, are they in English?) Yes and yes. Most of the fountains we offer will come with clear instructions to help you install and begin enjoying your fountain. For the few that don’t have instructions, the idea is that they are so simple to begin using they don’t need any further explanation. For some reason if you do have questions, as always, email us.

What do I have to do when my fountains arrives?

This depends on which fountain you ordered but in any case it will not take much to get it set up and operating. Your fountain will come with specific instructions for setting it up. Most of our Indoor Wall Fountains will come with the hardware required to hang them.
