About Us

How does someone get into the business of selling water fountains? Kind of random, we admit. The owner has always been drawn to water, spending his childhood in the North Carolina mountains exploring the many streams and brooks for wildlife, at the Outer Banks scanning the coastline for sea-life, and on the shores of many ponds and creeks fishing and catching turtles. Now grown with a family of his own he is passing on the allure of water to his children and re-living his youth through their discoveries. On a local search for an indoor fountain to place in his home he was surprised to learn there was little to no selection available at any of the big box stores. Garden centers he visited also had a limited selection, further frustrating his efforts. Beginning his search online, he soon realized that although there were a couple of decent websites offering indoor wall fountains online, none of them seemed to have a very broad selection or seemed dedicated to fountains. Someone needed to fill this void, and TheWaterFountainStore.com was born.

We started off focusing on indoor water fountains but soon realized that in order to best serve our customers we needed to expand to the outdoor fountain and garden fountain categories as well. We love fountains. We have all experienced how special they are and have seen time after time how they have transformed our own living spaces. We strive to share these experiences with you in a professional, friendly and fun manner. We want you to feel informed, comfortable and totally satisfied as you go through the stages of researching, shopping and obtaining the perfect fountain for your needs.

We don’t claim to know everything there is to know about fountains. When we learn something new we will share it with you through our website, blog, Facebook page, etc. We also would love it if you would share your stories with us, whether with pictures or videos of your new fountains, or just a quick note or email. We also welcome any suggestions you have as to how we could better serve your friends and neighbors (who hopefully will be coming to our site soon after they see your new fountain!). Please send any feedback to us in regards to our website design, usability, customer service, policies, or anything else you can think of that you would like to see changed (sorry, we can’t consider using the giraffes for shipping again!).
